why can't the Doctor get some new companions, I'm sick of Pond, Rory and River Song, I just don't care anymore :thumbsdown:

I always find I end up talking when I hear phrases like that as I'm one of the few it seems that have enjoyed series 5 and 6 immensely more than the previous series'. It's also my point of view that the current companions are the best of the 2005+ series'. I mean they're competent for one which is something that's hard to argue with the previous companions...

But, you will be happy to know series 7 is the last of Amy and Rory (dunno about River).
