Hello. In case you didn't know, the name of this topic is also the best line from Star Trek IV. But you knew that. I've been watching Star Trek since I was a little kid after my mom rented The Cage from the video store. I now proudly own every single season DVD set. Yep. Even Enterprise (which in my opinion was way underrated). So what if it didn't perfectly conform to the franchise canon? It was still a good show. I like all the series pretty much equally although TNG is my favorite. I also like South Park, American Dad, Family Guy seasons 1-3 (that show has really started to suck), and many nerdy sci-fi series -- and many not-as-nerdy series as well. I like science and absolutely despise pseudoscience. I'm a writer/journalist by trade but I'm actually a nice person once you get to know me. I recently started a new blog at www.lyingaboutthetruth.com and a couple weeks ago I predicted the apocalypse using Windows 7 (It's on 12-31-2099!).

Hi Mitch! Welcome to TU - I see you found the Fan Fiction forum already! I must admit that The Journey Home has more great quotes per minute than any other of the films! I can never say, "Everyone remember where we parked!" without feeling like Kirk!

Welcome to TU, Mitch! TNG is also my favorite series, but Voyager and TOS are close behind.
I enjoyed Enterprise, but thought that if they wanted to do big time arcs and new species, it should not have been set BEFORE TOS. I had hoped for more bottle shows showing those first visits to planets we already saw in later series. I really wanted a show on the "Piece of the Action" planet in which the book on Prohibition-era Chicago gangsters was left behind.
If you are in need of fresh Trek, I recommend Fan Trek. We have a forum for that here, or visit my website (signature) for an index of Trek Fan Films and Fan Audio.

"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
