I'm just watching Season 1 of Next Generation, and finished Episode#4: The Last Outpost. I enjoyed it, and I love the Ferengi. I was just wondering what other Next Generation episodes the Ferengi are in?.

"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather

I never really rated the Ferengi in NG. It always seemed to me that they were being potrayed as something they werent.
With the best will in the world I couldn't take them seriously as clear and present threats with all that silly dancing about in their first show. They did improve a bit as the series progressed but on balance I think DS9 got it right with Quark, Rom and Nog. They were characters I could take seriously. The Ferengi as a viable race owes them a huge debt of gratitude.

Yeah, I was about to say they always came off too silly in TNG, but DS9 combined some silliness with some seriousness, for a nice balanced result...they were quite funny but had some strong moments too.
