SHORE LEAVE, one of the oldest and largest all-volunteer, all fan-run sci-fi & media conventions in the nation, will be making its annual return to the Marriott's Hunt Valley Inn just north of Baltimore, Md. on the weekend of July 8-10, 2011.

This 3-day event features multiple tracks of programming dedicated to your favorite genre TV shows and movies. Among our special events will be guest Q&A sessions, autograph sessions, photo opportunities with our guest stars, a huge Masquerade costume contest, an Art Show and auction, weekend-long gaming, video presentations, fan panel discussions, special children's programming, science programming, and charitable events, including our annual Red Cross blood drive.

Among our special guests this year will be JOHN DeLANCIE, CHRISTOPHER JUDGE, TRICIA HELFER, GARY LOCKWOOD, SALLY KELLERMAN, EDDIE McLINTOCK, and CLIFF SIMON. We also feature a large number of number of noted genre authors, including PETER DAVID and KEITH R.A. DeCANDIDO that will be available to discuss what they do and sign copies of their books, as well as members of the scientific community from such organizations as the Hubble Space Telescope Institute to talk about the latest scientific discoveries of the universe all around us.
