20/20 is more hit and giggle than serious cricket but ODI's are more to my liking, I remember Michael Beven was a great ODI cricketer particularly if Australia was in trouble

Brad Hodge was the unluckiest man to play cricket in Australia, could never understand how he wasn't in test and ODI teams for Australia more than he was so good and still is good in many forms of the game.

Hi ya everybodies! How are you all holding up in this ridiculous weather? I'd like to see the sun before I leave for Germany. It's been out a bit more today, though that means it's steaming up the air.

I heard on the news that there is a lot of rain in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and more rain to come. Stay safe and dry.

It's been a funny week I reckon, heaps of rain, a Minister copying from a movie, QLD Election date set without anybody really noticing, Ponting saving his test career, the PM and Opposition Leader surrounded by a mob, protesters giving Gillard's shoe back after putting it first on eBay and then they burn the flag.

I'm surprised that protesters managed to get within 50 metres of Gillard and Abbott really.

A quick pop in the say a quick cheerio to you all! Heading off the Germany this morning. I is very, very nervous!

It would have been nice to see some blue sky before I left, but alas, that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Maybe by the time I get back, in 3 weeks, we'll have some nicer weather.

Anyhoo, I'll catch you all soon!

Save travels Pauline.

The QLD election date got a mention here, as did the mob that surrounded the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader.

Is there enough snow to make a snowman?

This place is covered in it! Apparently it's meant to snow later this week, so here's hoping we actually get to see the snow falling!

Yes, it has been very cold, but for some unknown reason I seem to be coping better than I thought I would. I'm having a lovely time. Weather permitting, we're hoping to go to Austria next week. Can't wait!

Yeah, I heard there was a storm, but BIL said they didn't get much on his side of town.

Hi ya all!

Oh, the snow we saw yesterday has such a beautiful feel to it! Just amazing! Yeah, the trip to Austria has been cancelled due to said snow. Apparently they have closed the airports. Oh, well, we're catching the train to Munich instead, which will also be fun. Can't wait!

Thanks, mlaz, that shoulder healed quicker than I thought it would, so at least there's that.

or those back home, this is where we went yesterday...
