Just finished wrapping the presents on Christmas morning. Now it's bed time.

I thought it was nice and quiet but at least the sun came out for Christmas and Boxing Day, Earth seems to be chucking a tantrum, at the moment with the weather around the planet, who knows if it is Global Warming or Earth doing it's thing one thing is for certain we just got to ride along with it.

Anybody been watching the cricket??? Decent start by Australia though Marsh and Hussey got Ducks at least the new opener got off to a good debut and Siddle once again seems handy with the bat as well as the ball.

Saw the cricket scores. Aus 1st innings 333. India is 210/2. Pointing and Cowen both made half centuries.

Hello, Aussie Trek Mom! Happy New Year to you as well. Come by a bit more often, if you can! It's good to see old/new faces popping in now and again.

I've had a busy few days filled with writing. Trying to get as much done as I can before I leave for Germany, which is in less than 4 weeks! Posted Image I'm excited but nervous at the same time. My fist trip overseas, and flying! I don't do flying very well.

I gotta admit the days sometimes flies by that it doesn't feel like it was ages that I lasted posted but in reality it's weeks, must try and be here often.

Anyone watching the Cricket? Not too convinced Australia is in good form for India was wiped off the pitch by England in England so they are a poor away team

I have watched some of the cricket. Saw Clarke get his triple century and Pointing and Hussy getting centuries.

Yes, it has been quiet! Doesn't help that I've had a busy week, getting ready for Germany, plus a few other hiccups in my life right now. Hopefully I'll get more time to play, but there are still a few things I need to get done.

I haven't watched the cricket for years, but I do keep a track through the news.

I agree, AT, the Aussies seem to have fallen into that category of not doing well away from home soil.

Okay, I have a few more topics to visit, then I've gotta get moving.

The Third Test didn't last long, only two and a half days, What a disappointing Summer of Cricket it has been,

Yes it seems India has had trouble playing here. Are there one day matches still to be played?

Yeah there should be some ODI's and I think some 20/20 matches but i hope the games don't turn into 25 over games and 10/10

Every year it does get more and more disappointing, AT. I think that's why I've lost interest in the game, especially with the new form of 20/20 cricket.
