After talking with Russ and Bill, I have made some minor forum changes to better reflect Trekunited's ideals and goals as we move forward. Since the beginning, Trekunited has alway been about fan involvment with anything relating to Star Trek. That said, I have put together all the area's where fans can get involved, so that area is appropriately named "Get Involved!" this includes:

- The Tu Active projects area for all TU sponsored or promoted projects.

- A section for all the IFT members, since we are now owned by the IFT (soon to be called The Federation).

- The Star Trek fan production section.

- The Scifi fan production area for non-Star trek productions.

- The Scifi convention section, many of these conventions are always looking for help. I have cleaned up alot of the past conventions and put them in their the correct areas.

The other change is that I will be allowing any member to post news items relating to , Star Trek, Scifi and Fanatasy, Space/Nasa and Technology. While we are, no way, attemping to compete as a news site, we do want the latest news to talk about, restricting it to just staff will not get that done. At my GBBS site there are few members that constantly posting BSG/Caprica news and it works out fine, I hope to duplicate that here. Any news item that is not valid will be removed.
