Paramount Pictures has set a release date for the untitled sequel to J. J. Abrams' Star Trek. The follow-up is planned for June 29, 2012, a full year after it was originally slated for summer theaters.

-Works for me, I would rather wait than see story rushed for the sake of the quest for the almighty dollar.

Agreed with Bill; I'd rather wait than see a horrible movie in just a year or so.

Agreed with the above. I would rather wait until they brought out a decent movie.

waiting is always good, it makes the movie seem 10000000000 times better when it comes out, but I agree I want them to do the best they can.

People,what hear about movie "Star Trek-12"? Who will be director movie? On imdb never do not writed about continue movie.Maybe you know?

I agree also i would rather wait and get a good movie with a good and rich story!!! I say lets wait a little longer too.

The date is set, Star Trek XII will be released May 17, 2013.

Production to begin Jan. 15, 2012. As with every movie, it will also be released in 3D.

Rumors and leaked news, I am sure will follow shortly thereafter.

This is very good.Movie will be release in 2013 year.I hope,what will be more interesting and dinamic than in 11 movie.
Maybe new enemy will be Khan or other enemy from original series. will be wait this movie and watch in theatre in 3-D.
