I recently bought 2 ST-XI DVD original box sets in Singapore ....

Posted Image

Left: Star Trek (1 DVD set) ... with Chinese / English language & subtitles! (Only S$10, produced in China)

Right: Star Trek (2 DVD set) ... English / Thai language, English / Thai / Chinese / Malay / Korea subtitles. (S$36.90, Code 3)

Now I know the official Chinese name for the word "STAR TREK" ... haha ;D

Haha, I bought that too; but I only paid $5 USD for mine. I also bought another Star Trek XI DVD; it's hilarious! It says 'One Disc Special Edition' instead of the 'Twi Disc Special Edition'.

Interestingly, it has come to my attention that the word STAR TREK is translated differently between China, Hong Kong and Taiwan ...

China: 星际迷航 (literally means Lost in Space!)
http://campus.eol.cn...11_398283.shtml

HK: 星空奇遇記 (i.e Mysterious encounters in the sky!)
http://www.hmv.com.h....asp?sku=709370

Taiwan: 星際爭霸戰 (sound like "Star Wars", haha)
http://echen688.blog...post/1571/25946

Other translations: 星际旅行 (which means Space Vacation Tour!)

Perhaps our fans from Taiwan, HK or China would like share with us their views. Posted Image
