So the combination is 1-2-3-4-5. That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard in my life! That's the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!- Dark Helmet; "Live free or die. Death is not the worst of evils." - Gen. John Stark; "Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can't, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it." -Robert Frost; "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." - Samuel Adams, Brewer/Patriot

I say, what buy licensed DVD-this best, than download movie in bad quality and with virus with internet. 1 DVD with movie and 1 DVD with 1 season series "Star Trek" in 4-month it is normal.

Well, not everyone wants more of these movies. So, maybe they're doing it right. :innocent:

  • Interests:For this forum - 'Star Trek' obviously! I write fan fiction and am currently in the process of writing a planned series of fan novels based on the joint adventures of Jean-Luc Picard and Shinzon (it's amazing what you can do with a bit of bad science and a huge amount of imagination!). Actually, I've been trekking since 1969 and I love all Star Trek. I have books galore and I collect Art Asylum 7" Star Trek figures as well.Apart from that I love movies, reading, music and occasionally making my own art.

It's probably got more to do with the demographic they set out to attract this time around - why pay for anything when you can rip it off instead?

I await Radardog's comment on this with interest...

I agree with Jules in that it's probably the demographic, but it seems more likely to me that sci-fi fans are just more knowledgeable about technology (on average versus the general population) and thus more likely to use it to pirate stuff. BSG was also highly pirated.

The reason its the most pirated is that people who pirated it actually baught it too. Once it had been in the cinema people pirated it as they wanted to watch it again as it was not released on DVD for months.

Once the proper copy was out they baught that too.

Was it even worth pirating, I don't think so.
