It won't help you. Unless you have a multi-system DVD player, you will be unable to watch all of them in America. US/Canada - Region 1. Russia (where Martok is) - Region 5 :P

Well, in the Trek Universe, I suppose I'm still a Newbie; only 8 years or so. Just recently have I started to become obsessed with it; but I've always enjoyed Trek while it was running on TV and things like that. I have yet to attend a convention, although I have some plans set up for attending a few next year when I'm back in the States.

So yeah, 8 years have I enjoyed Star Trek; but only 3 of those 8 years have I been actually 'obsessed' with it.

Since february 2007, more or less.

Resistance was futile.
I was assimilated.

Thanks to "The Pretender": I liked this TV show, I watched it on "La7", and they aired Enterprise before it. So I "discovered" Star Trek :-)

I have been a Trekkie since I was six or seven years old, I am now 27. I was introduced thanks to the BBC2 Wednesday 6pm showing of TNG around that time and watched with my Dad when he wasn't off on night-shift. I found the whole thing wonderful, this really cool spaceship and this calm and imposing, bald (ironically, like my Dad), Englishman (we're Scottish - close enough and eminently relatable) bloke giving lots or orders and strange creatures and weird space stuff every week. I confess I wasn't as hardcore into Trek at the time as I was into the BBC's re-runs of Doctor Who which I also watched with my Dad when they were showing the Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker eras in-particular. I also had a weakness for Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, Stingray and cartoons like Dangermouse, which remains a classic. Later in life I discovered reruns of Blake's Seven and the Prisoner as well as modern classics like Farscape and Battlestar Galactica. But for all that, Trek holds a special place in my heart, when I realised that anything really was possible if you had the imagination to conceive it.

How long you trekkie. And how long you love series "Star Trek". I'm begin watch series "Star Trek" in octaber 2005-ear on TV. In 2008-year buy "Star Trek:The original series" on DVD. In this year i buy "Star Trek:deep space nine" on DVD.

And what talk you friends about "Star Trek". My friend hates series "Star Trek".He does not like PC-games "Star Trek".

You probably have friends who have hatred for the TV series "Star Trek" How your parents relate to your passion for TV series "Star Trek"?

None of my friends hate star trek. I have only two. One does not watch ,,Star trek'' and the other one watches a little ,,Deep space nine''.

I've been a Trekkie since the early 1970s, about 42 years or so, now. You didn't have a button for that and your 20 years didn't have a plus sign. So, I didn't vote. Sorry, some of us have been alive since before the series began on 8 September 1966. I didn't really get into it until it went into syndication in the early 1970s, however, I have been a major fan ever since!

For about 25 years
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather
