Would Ezri Dax have been more accepted if she was on the show a full seven years without any appearances of Jadzia Dax? My answer would be yes.

Would Ezri Dax have been more accepted then Jadzia Dax if Ezri Dax was there from season one to season six with Jadzia Dax that replaced her for season seven. My answer would be yes.

Since 1999, have accepted that Jadzia Dax is always more acceptable then Ezri Dax in all head to head polls.

I agree with you. I like both of them, but we just got to know Jadzia so much better.

Just me, Ezri Dax would have really bloomed if she was on season 8. Just me, I always thought that Ezri Dax could do more material work then Jadzia Dax.

Would love to see a series with Ezri Dax. My feeling, Nicole Deboer would not want to play the role again. Second, I cannot see someone that played a Lieutenant Junior Grade would be given the top billing with a new series. In a few weeks she will be turning 39 years old. With someone that did her only single year in a series when she was 28 to 29 years old, with less than 30 episodes under her belt. If she was given a series with her it, fans would be asking why her and not the other characters.

Now, the ending of DS9 was designed in a way to address a possible movie. Since it has now been ten years, and DS9 was skipped for the Star Trek 2009 I just do not see anyone really interested in a DS9 movie from even within DS9 itself. In fact, I do not even see a possible spin off of a DS9 show. Since Enterprise failed as a series, not because of the time period but the fact it was in my judgment the error to be on network television then cable.

Well you can't really say that considering ezri (or possibly jadzia if you switched their roles) didn't really get to develop that much from only 1 season and that was the ending season.

Jadzia Dax was well established in the series, however, I believe Ezri could of handled it just fine. I thought Ezri did a fine job and she was a hottie too hubba hubba!!!! :naughty3dg:

I loves both women. Anyway, both women had their own lives. Was Jadzia Dax smarter then Ezri Dax, yes. But, I did find Ezri was more human then Jadzia.

Jadzia also seemed to be a much more valuable asset to the crew of DS9.

Would have to say that was true. She did save a number of lives because of her brains.

Indeed she did. She was overall an excellent officer who offered a lot to Deep Space Nine.

True, she was interesting. Just felt we really did not know who she was before being joined. Ezri on the hand, we very much understand her family and her childhood.
