Text on the "View New Content" page could go to white to make it stand out against the background.

Also, it looks like all pre-v3 quotes are broken. Don't know that there's much that can be done about that, but I thought I'd point it out.

Wel I need to run a rebuild on posts, but with 600,000 plus post it would take along time so i will have to let it do it overnight.

As for the "View New Content" I will fix that, there are a couple other area where the gray backgound should not be the background, im working on that.

As good as you think you made the skin there are always issues that pop up after that need tweaking.

I don't doubt it. There's always something.

And just so people know: there is no more "view first unread post" button next to topics. Just click on the topic title and it will automatically take you to the next unready post in the topic.

I'm having huge issues.

ONE: the screen blanks out as I scroll up or down.
TWO: there are no avies, they are blank lines.
THREE: the quotes are not in quotes. There is just one big word QUOTE but without distinction between the quoted content and the answer.

there are more, but these are the worst of them.

1. I do not have this problem.
2. Try doing a force refresh to see if it's a cache thing (CTRL+F5).
3. All pre-upgrade quotes are broken at the moment. All new quotes work fine.

I have the Post rebuild process running, I should fix the quote issue also. its been running over an hour and on 97,000 posts only another 600,000 to go LOL. When i upgraded earlier it had to convert all the PMs and there were 47,000 of those, so that took a while.

Barabra, what brower do you use? this skin was built with Firefox and IE8. You seem to have weird issues with you computer i noticed, so i was just wondering.

It didn't on my cell phine. It took me to the first post in the topic. But I may just have to tweak my BB settings

That sounds like what the old skin looked like in my blackberry browser. hmmm.



One other thing. I thought the new skin was ugly (sorry, myabe I'll get used to it) but the options to change it are just the ipboard basic and the ipboard lofi (both of which are also ugly). I can't get back to the new custom skin at all now.

It won't the first time you view a post-converted topic (it doesn't know you've been there before), but it should after that.

It does take some getting used to. Um...in the "members" section..you can hardly read the member names. Could the names be in that nice mellow yellow??

There are a few avies missing...like Frootloopers...Come to think of it...I can't even picture her avie, now.

I like the subtle patterns and stuff!

I figured out the problem with the first post/last post thing. If, for example, you click on the "last post" of a topic on the main forum page, it will bring you to the last post. If you are in say, the section of the forum...such as Crewmember's lounge...and click on a thread, it will bring you to the first post. If you click on the >> or the last number it will bring you to the last page. I have not figured out how to access the "last viewed post" thingie that we had on the old forum. Is there one?

Also, what is this reputation thing? AND...the plus and minus signs...I clicked on them and I got a notice that I had used up my positve or negative whatever quota for the day.

I have to say, I don't think I dig having a reputation. (What can I say, I'm easy.) No, but really...I'm not thrilled with that...Though...I can't figure it out, anyway. I'm not much of a fan of the rating thing as it is...I always give everyone 5 stars!!

Okay....I clicked on the ip.board option to check it out...and now I can't get back to the regular new skin...

I erased the cookies, and it logged me out. HELP!!

For folks who prefer the old skin, this IPBoard skin is much like the old TU....
