As you can see, the forum has been upgraded to new version 3.0.3. Since none of the old skins work with this version, I built a new skin from the ground up. The skin contains colors from the old 2.3.6 skins as well as adding new updated elements and logos. There are many new features that you will eventually learn about. There will also be a bug or two that may be forum or skin related, if you spot something please post it in the 'Forum Issues' thread. Over this week I will be doing other minor tweaks to get the forum working just fine.

So I'm checking out some of the new stuff... what's the whole deal with the status updates on the side of the home page? What do they do exactly?

It's Invision's attempt to appeal to the social networking-obsessed masses. I personally just hit the "close" button at the top of the column to close it.

Thanks, the idea was to go with the easy color on Richard's old skin for reading, yet spice up some other areas and give it a modern edge.

Yeeeees. I love those spoilers.

Would it be possible to get some dice-roll code in here, Tom? We can do some serious roleplaying with a set of those.

And the beauty part is that no matter how much you type it will just be that thin line until you show the text.
