I have updated 'Talons in the Prey' parts one and two. I need help with part one, where Malcolm tells Archer how to update the Suliban De-cloaking device (you will see ?????), I have no-idea about technobabble, so any help would be great.

Did some digging for you techno wise, Paulinem.

Here is the device used to detect the Romulan Cloak. It was constructed to see through Suliban stealth technology, but presumably is being tweeked by either Reed or T'Pol to do the same job on the Warbirds. (I hate to point out, that didn't work during "Minefield" on the ships... just the mines.)

http://memory-alpha..../Quantum_beacon

It's called the Quantum Beacon and can be placed on the grappling arm, normally extended or retracted with a shuttlepod magnetically attached.

You can grab some shots of it here:

Archer would likely order "Deploy the beacon" followed by maybe "Adjust the viewscreen."

Very nice-I particularly like the new font (It is new, isn't it?). It makes the whole thing look more professional.

Best wishes,

Nice one, Paulinem.

May I ask what software you use to put these videos together? Have you considered different styles of wipe... fading between each picture?

The choice of starting image is beautifully matched to the dedication.

Thank You, I did change the font for the 'Ode' at the begginning and I think I also made the font smaller for the rest????

Thanks also CP,

I use Windows Movie Maker, it was the only thing I had on my LT. I have considered changing the swipes. I've experimented using the fading in and out, sometimes it works other times it doesn't, it's all a matter of experience I guess, the more I do, the more I learn...

Anyways, time for brekky. Have a great day/night all. Catch ya later...

It's all coming along very nicely there, Paulinem.

I see you changed the choice of screencap, onscreen with Berman & Braga's credit.

What is the music during T'Pol's dream sequence? It's very familiar but I can't place it. It's a film I should know very well isn't it? :)

Morning/evening all...

Thanks TF and CP, I'm almost finished tweeking the 'Finale' but I'm leaving putting it up until midweek.

CP, the music is from the episode 'Horizon' ep 20 season 2, I only used part of it.

and yeah, I was never happy with the screen cap for Brannan & Braga, you live and your learn...

Anyways, have a great day/night, catch ya later...

I should've realised that... *Curses* It's from that bit where Archer goes to visit Travis mourning the death of his father isn't it? It was the perfect fit, setting the tone for that scene. I guess whoever wrote it (Dennis McCarthy or Jay Chattaway) would be flattered that I imagined it to be from some big-screen blockbuster.

Hi CP

The theme runs for over 5 mins. I cut it down to that bit to suit the scene, so I'm not sure what part of the episode it was in. I was quite excited to get it right.
