That's because it was the only story in the thread all night.

Apparently my story doesn't count.... or maybe it's me who doesn't count :(

I realy think the higher up executives in the organisation I work in are gone crazy.
And that would be the mild option. the other one would be they do not have any respect for the clients, family of clients or for us workers.
We where told yesterday we had to move all to a differend location. That building is been empty for ages and has issues.. savety and otherwise. We have to move in monday.

Higher ups are always crazy. I try to ignore ours. But if there's safety concerns, can't you complain to the officials?

Your story counted, it just wasn't during the night.

You know, they totally should have made a TNG movie with Q.

I have, risking my job. And it didn't do me any good or change the situation. They just say be patient all will work out.
But I work here for about 25 years and know differend, from past projects.

okay so i'm having one of those "WTF" mornings. i woke up about an hour ago with some blood on my hands (from my nose apparently) and bruises up and down my arms. and apparently i've started talking in my sleep quite a bit. so, yeah, i'm not sure how alarmed to be about all that

Yeah, there are some things that are definitely filed under "phlox I don't need to know. EVER." I get that all the time at work.

i imagine it goes something like "we're here to talk about roast beef, not to... talk about roast beef." at least i imagine that to be typical of the hijinks and shenniganery which routinely occur at your place of employment.

My day was quiet. many people weren't there or left early. and it's too hot out. At least the nights are cool. I don't know how much less dressed I can be in an apartment that has no curtains in the living room

My school doesn't have it. They really should, though, since they're 100% distance learning...

How can a bank transfer into my account on the morning that I get paid be slower than picking up a paycheque and depositing it?

because not all employers and banks get the transfer processed on the same day? i believe the requirement is just that it has to be done in under 48 hours, IIRC

ah, I believe the requirement here is for the money to be available in your account on the payday itself.

When I was getting direct deposit from subbing, it would be in there the day before I would have gotten it in the mail.
