I mostly like Cause and Effect because the Enterprise explodes three or four times throughout the course of the episode.

Cause and Effect is one of my favorite TNG episodes ever. Of all time.

Cause and Effect is one of my favorite TNG episodes ever. Of all time.

It's definitely quintessential TNG. It's got some of everything. Poker games, time travel, exploding Enterprises, Geordi being awesome in engineering, Data saving the day in the end, and pretty much everything we love about TNG in one compact, utterly awesome episode.

And I always enjoyed the...like, "ghost" memories from each loop. And how they used that to find the loop and solve the problem.

Also, the massive beating of the Enterprise and total destruction of that nacelle and just awesome.
