A loud CRACK is heard roiling over the quiet, lonely island. Birds of multiple colors take to the skies only to settle back into the tops of the fluttering palm-like trees.

Turquoise blue waters drift almost quietly over the silky white sand beach of a remote cove on the north of the island.

Terilynn, dressed for the first time since she began tending bar without her trademark bootz, grins as she lets the warm sand sidle between her toes. She is wearing a bright, floral sarong and is holding the handle to a leash. The other end of the leash is wrapped loosely around the waist of a tall, bearded man in a red Starfleet uniform. She immediately smiled and unties the leather restraint.

"I didn't want to lose you during transport Will. I know how much you love Risa."

He doesn't answer her, he merely smiles and moves towards a large palm-thatched hut set back away from the tide. He unceremoniously strips himself of his tunic as he walks away from her. Terilynn sighs heavily.

"Your trunks are behind the bar Will!"

He waves back to her with a smile.

Terilynn looks around the new area. Soon several loud cracks are heard.

"Oh good, the accoutrement has arrived!"

There are several elves, orcs and hobbits, all dressed in tropical attire. A Shiny, platinum-hued Cylon appears and Terilynn is bemused by its bright shirt and the fact that its neck is laden down with numerous flowery leis.

"Ter!" She hears Riker's voice from the large hut. "The rest made it just fine! The jukebox and Young Ensign Redshirt too! OOOh! Look!" he cries as he walks from the hut. Now dressed in only red-tinted swim trunks, he is holding an idol that resembles a Polynesian icon from Earth. Terilynn knows better however and she smiles and laughs. "Look what I found!" he says. "A Hor'gahn!" His eyebrows wriggle.

She smiles brightly. She walks to dip her toe in the warm surf as it rolls towards her.

Yes...this is good.

Oh joy. A happy sunshine place.
*holds umbrella over self and liberally applies sunscreen*
I'll have to work so hard to get my paleness back when this is over. I hope it rains.

*The sound of talons impacting sand echoes from behind the bar. The mighty cry of a dragonhawk is heard, and Edwards appears, having shed his armor but still wearing the traditional Blood Elf colours of red, black, and gold.*

The viper seemed a bit loud for such a peaceful setting. Besides, now that BSG's over, it might be fun to experiment with other breeds of nerdery.

Well, the sun is an important symbol in Blood Elf culture (even if they did only adopt it as a "screw you" to the Night Elves), so I suppose they'll enjoy that (and if they're happy, I'm happy). Also, I can swim. I love swimming.

Out pops fastillion from behind a pine tree, from whence he was, ahem, hiding.
The sound of several giggles behind the tree follows him as he strides forth, fastening his belt.

"Ah, yes, swimming. Quite wonderful. Needed a vacation, you know. The paperwork, it gets to you."

He shifts his eyes a few times before setting himself down at the bar and ordering some Horchata to sip on while he waits for the rest of the crew to arrive. He smirks at Apoco smearing industrial grade sunblock on himself, and glances down at his own rather white body.
"Best if I tan soon..." he thinks to himself.

*Barbara falls uncerimoniously from the bright blue sky above and lands with a sudden thunk.*

I think I'm here in one piece. *looks around with wonder*

Wow!! SUNSHINE!!! Where's Apoco? Hiding I'm sure. BRIGHT LIGHTS AND BLUE SKIES FOREVER!!!!

I can't stay long. In fact I shouldn't even be here. The new video computer is not recognizing my duel monitors. Need to find a techy quick. Problem must be fixed today. No time for daydreaming and procrastinating. Of course, that IS my trademark.

Since I have no problem in the SUNSHINE, I guess I could get rid of these stiff, heavy clothes. Glad I brought my summer gear in my pack - it's small enough to fit in there - and I'm always ready for summer. Apple juice with a hint of ginger ale and a slice of pineapple on the rocks please.

Dual monitors?
Check your video card, make sure you have it set to use them.
Make sure your screen resolutions are configured.
What make is your card? Nvidia or ATI?

Why? Because I want to make sure the video card is working right?
Lol.
You think thats bad?
I'm having a party tonight. A christening party for my new computer, which we are building today.

And lets NOT go into the whole geek vs. nerd thing people. I'm both. Both are the same to me. Dont argue it. Just man up and go read your comic books.

No really. I meant that with every fiber in my being! I love geeks AND nerds (and yes I am both). I love that you're having a new computer party. I love that you know that you can configure cards to see more than one monitor. I love that you have a talent that frankly I don't (although I do have a passion for gadgets...)

So just deal with the affection...would ya! *cries* I'm having a very emotional day. sorry. *goes to the hut to seek comfort from RR*
