 Yeah... looks like a tough budget crunch for our school.
It's all about priorities.

You should consider making a move to texas/houston. Sure it's got negatives like 'it's texas' but it also has possitives like more jobs and BF.
That's actually a distinct possibility. Like, this summer, when I get my next student pay check with which to cover the moving expenses. Probably not Houston though, I'm looking closer to BF's area.

I'm not sure how cuteness can "happen," but the internet mandate still stands.

I don't have any good pictures lately. Been taking scenic shots instead. But

What I've experienced of Texas, I've found preferable to Arizona. In Arizona, my radio has gotten stolen twice and my car vandalized three times; in Texas, none of the above.

I very much doubt you'll find Texas schools an improvement but again, there will be work.

Texas did have those billboards about every thirty feet with the whole "Want to teach in Texas? When can you start?" thing on it. So yeah i expect they might be looking for teachers :P

 Yeah... looks like a tough budget crunch for our school.

I have no problems doing things like that if you can give me a good reason why. The best I could get from the article was "because it would be awesome", which doesn't really fly with me. Certainly not for that money.

Ah, you do have to be careful with that, though. That $24 million does not necessarily belong to the university as a whole. Athletics money is generally just that - athletics money, and it is entirely separate from the academics. Also, if you read closely, the money is not coming from the university, but from fundraising.

Finally, who the hell named a building after Anschutz? Phillip Anschutz can kiss my ass.

Ah. See, we were going around in one of those giant trucks, so the other giant trucks actually saw us and didn't try to kill us.

Actually...I heard from a student's mom who had lived in both states that even Texas beat Arizona. Also, I'd probably be looking in less metropolitan areas...there's bound to at least be less of the gang-bangery kids that way.

Yeah...the particular program those boards are advertising isn't any help to me, but...I'm hoping.

Semantics. The priorities of the university are represented in what they budget and fundraise for.
