Glad to see this old thread of mine is still going ^_^

I'm (sadly) reading a book on the ramifications of multi-multiculturalism in modern western society. Once that utter snore-fest is over with I intend to carry on with an alt-history/steampunk book called The Martian Ambassador. Only a few chapters in but it seems like an entertaining read so far. Pick up if the idea of a world in which Victorian Britain mixes with the newly discovered people of Mars and a murder of the titular Martian ambassador leads to a Sherlock style detective story.

For a second there I thought you were giving the plot to the book you were reading... and I was all like that aint right somehow, but then I re-read it and was like lol.

Anyways I'm reading invent with python, you can actually get it in pdf format from the website or order the book, but it makes learning programming languages super easy.

This may sound pedestrian, but currently I'm in a program to help me get through the entire Bible in a year. It's broken up into bits and only takes about twenty minutes a day. Old Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and then a reading from the New Testament.

Reading this tome in this fashion is rather eye-opening, as I'm seeing how it all comes together, Old Testament to New. As a people, we haven't changed a bit, or so it seems. We keep making the same mistakes time after time. Generation to generation, society to society. Seems we are truly a 'Stiff-necked' bunch. It's staggering to think we have a Creator, (and yes, I'm aware that some don't choose to believe and that's fine), Who can forgive our egregious acts, patiently waiting us out and still coming to our aide, if we turn from our wicked ways and ask for help.

I used to think of God as a father, even more so as I became a parent myself. But He's far more patient and loving than any parent I've ever known or seen --- myself included.

I hope my post hasn't offended anyone, I just wanted to share and since this is about the only book I've been reading lately . . . well, there you have it.

Today i read some parts book"X-files" about strange anomaly on submarine.
This book was amazing and interesting for me.I read this book on my native language,but this story me very liked.
I recommanded read this book all fan's sci fi story.I don't will be say about story in this book,because you will be don't interesting read this book.I say only one: interesting book with amazing and dinamic story.

I read Fifty Shades to see what all the fuss was about. I found it very boring. It came across as a woman trying to write like a man who was trying to write like a woman. Dull Dull Dull!

I'm back to an old favourite, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Great stuff!
