Posted ImageHere it is: You’re going to see more of Voyager (finally), Titan, The Original Series, Vanguard, the mirror universe, and multiple sequels to the Destiny trilogy to be released later this year. The schedule was unveiled last week at New York’s Comic-Con Star Trek book panel, with Marco Palmieri, Margaret Clark, David Mack, Christopher L. Bennett, and Keith R.A. DeCandido in attendence.

September 2008:
Star Trek 101 by Terry J. Erdmann and Paula M. Block
101 is to be a sort of ‘primer’ into Star Trek for both new and casual fans. It is being released in anticipation of the buzz surrounding Star Trek (2009).

January 2009:
Mirror Universe: Shards and Shadows
Twelve short stories from the mirror universe, stretching over 200 years from the time of Enterprise all the way up to The Next Generation. Shards and Shadows will be authored by Christopher L. Bennett, Margaret Wander Bonanno, Peter David, Keith R.A. DeCandido, Kevin Dilmore, Michael Jan Friedman, Jim Johnson, Rudy Josephs, David Mack, Dave Stern, James Swallow, Dayton Ward, and Susan Wright.

February 2009:
A Singular Destiny by Keith R.A. DeCandido
This is a different book for Star Trek. It will be a follow-up on the political fallout to come from the Destiny trilogy and is described by DeCandido as a “Tom Clancy-style political thriller,” something we have not yet seen in Trek. It will not feature any of the main crews from the Destiny crossovers, instead it will have a civilian protagonist of DeCandido’s own creation.

March 2009:
TOS: Mere Anarchy by Mike W. Barr, Christopher L. Bennett, Margaret Wander Bonanno, Dave Galanter, Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore, and Howard Weinstein
Mere Anarchy is a compilation of a six eBook series released from August 2006 to April 2007. It spans 30 years of The Original Series era, from right before TOS to after the events at the beginning of Star Trek Generations.

Titan: Over a Torrent Sea by Christopher L. Bennett
Like A Singular Destiny, Over a Torrent Sea is a follow-up to the Destiny trilogy.

April 2009:
Voyager: Full Circle by Kirsten Beyer
It’s been three and a half years since the release of the last Voyager novel, Spirit Walk Book #2: Enemy of my Enemy. Full Circle picks up where Enemy of my Enemy left off and brings Voyager all the way up to the time of Destiny, which means it will be covering several years for the Voyager crew.

May 2009:
Untitled Vanguard Book 4 by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore
