i gave it a 10 as well. very good show.

I gave it a 10 but I know I'm completely biased.

The show does have its flaws, such as the treatment of its female characters, for example. But still, the optimistic outlook on the future and the episodes that (generally) come with important messages about life and/or ethical issues are what makes me love the show so much.

Well and then there's Jean-Luc, of course. And the fact that the crew just... well, they radiate the word "family" for me.
