I went with 10. Why? Because of the Trek series it was the most successful. Yes, it had it's problems and it could have been better in many ways, but it's still the best.

Had to go with 9/10. I love it dearly, but I just love DS9 a little bit more ;)

......for pulling off the tough task of being the new TOS and becoming a major success in its own right. There are fans out there who are Trekkers who have never seen TOS, but began their trekking with TNG. Great characters that we all feel great affection for.

I was just blown away when i first starting watching it (TNG), I just couldn't get enough.
And yes, I am one of those whom you mentioned that began their trekking with TNG.
Having seen the a few of films with the TOS cast, I do have a great deal of respect and admiration
for them; they really did do a phenomenal job of their roles.

I gave it an 8/10, even though as a show, its a 10/10. Personally I am more of a fan of the darker DS9 and I really really enjoyed the last 2 seasons of Enterprise.

Voted 10/10 because of it's historical context. Compared to some of the other series and genre shows that came later, I'd probably give it a 8 or 9/10.

8.5/10, although I rounded it out to 9. The only better Trek is DS9.
