So, would you pick one you've seen a hundred times, or one you wish you'd seen more of?

As much as I wish I had seen TMP a little more, I'll go with TWOK. I've literally seen it almost 100 times, but I'd watch it again and die happy :)

Its funny that Nemesis is the most recent, TMP is the earliest, yet I've seen Nemesis at least 20 times, TMP maybe 8 at the most.

1: Surprisingly, I think I've seen The Voyage Home the most.

2: I voted Generations, though I've never seen most of the TOS movies.

3: Nemesis.

After it came out, I used to think it was the best movie of al time. I repeatedly watched it more than any other Trek film, and eventually wrote the entire script of it for memory - talk about obsessed nerd

After that year, I didn't watch it nearly as much.

  • Interests:For this forum - 'Star Trek' obviously! I write fan fiction and am currently in the process of writing a planned series of fan novels based on the joint adventures of Jean-Luc Picard and Shinzon (it's amazing what you can do with a bit of bad science and a huge amount of imagination!). Actually, I've been trekking since 1969 and I love all Star Trek. I have books galore and I collect Art Asylum 7" Star Trek figures as well.Apart from that I love movies, reading, music and occasionally making my own art.

I have seen all ten feature films more than I can even remember (literally thousands of times over the course of their existence). However, I do know that I have seen The Wrath of Khan more than any other. If I had to choose just one more to see before I die it would have to be The Voyage Home for its supremely serious theme, light-hearted moments and highly positive ending. I couldn't think of a better way to go out like Edward G. Robinson in "Soylent Green" than viewing that superbly beautiful motion picture.

For the record, I do think Insurrection was a good movie and I regret that I haven't seen it that much.

I must admit up until Generations I was never a fan of the odd-numbered movies.

COunt goes First Contact, Search for Spock, Generations.

I rather enjoyed most of it, but for some reason, not the climax so much. Felt like it needed more there.

I love all the movies, including "Final Frontier." I only wish Paramount would have given Bill the budget he requested so he could have shot it the way he originally intended it to be. They really hamstrung him by cutting is original budget by a quarter amount. That's worse than killing Kenny! "Those phloxtards!"

Agreed. Originally, he wanted the film to be huge (maybe almost as huge as this new movie is supposed to be). Unfortunately, it gave him the rep of being a horrible director, though it really wasn't his fault.

I've seen Nemesis the most times.

I've actually seen very few TOS movies.

Well...I voted Nemesis, but if I could I'd do the new movie. Just to see if I'd die happy or if there would need to be grave-spinning.

I've seen The Wrath of Khan so many times in my life I've lost count.

Insurrection probably the least but still nudging double figures.

If I only had 2 hours left to live and just the films to choose from, I'd pick The Undiscovered Country. I've a happy memory bunking off school, being with mates, seeing that on the big screen... ah, happy days.

1. The Wrath of Kahn: It's my favorite of the films, and I watch it whenever I need a TOS fix.

2. The Motion Picture: Star Trek V might be the stupidest Trek film, but it's far from boring. TMP wins that prize.

3. Generations: If I could only watch one last Star Trek film, I'll pick the film with Kirk AND Picard in it. Sure, no Spock or McCoy, but hey, I don't go to Star Trek movies to watch Spock spout logicalities and McCoy to make snarky remarks. I watch for the pathos provided by Kirk and Picard. Generations provides that in spades.

The Wrath of Kahn: It's my favorite of the films, but I have only seen it 17 times. I only have a vhs video of the film and don't want to wear it out.

The Motion Picture: I have only seen it a few times. I thought it was rather boring.

Nemesis: Seen it around 8 times. Still enjoy the movie.

1. Wrath Of Khan
2. Final Frontier
3. First Contact

Wrath of Khan introduced me to Star Trek back in a Dusk till Dawn Drive-in. Even though TOS was doing re-runs on CBC on Saturdays, I never tuned into it until after I saw TWOK (The BEST Trek movie to date, FC a close second).
