I guess your the only one that hasn't heard the story. It was my first Con. and I was about 19 at the time and wasn't really sure what went on at these things so when a guy started to follow me around I wasn't really sure what was up .After about 45min. I turned around and asked the guy if there was something he needed. With a very creepy grin on his face he asked me if he could show me his "Bat'leth". He wasn't carrying any kind of weapon or even a toy version of the thing. That's when I figured out he wasn't talking about the trek weapon but something else all together!I later found out that he used that "pick up line"on some of the other women at the Con.I didn't go to another one till last year at Vegas.

So the combination is 1-2-3-4-5. That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard in my life! That's the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!- Dark Helmet; "Live free or die. Death is not the worst of evils." - Gen. John Stark; "Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can't, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it." -Robert Frost; "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." - Samuel Adams, Brewer/Patriot

Oh random forum peeping in the middle of the night, I love it. Sorry to dig up such an old thread, as you nevwr know what google will bestow upon you. Anyway, I would like to see some more female pick up lines too, but I am having difficulty thinking of any so here is another one for the boys: "Pardon me while I recalibrate my photon torpedo to penetrate that tantalizing deflector shield of yours"

I feel dirty now.
