I had a TV with built-in VCR, even, until a few months ago.
I still do 13", and I've never felt the need for anything bigger or newer.

Standard Definition TV: 720 x 480 = 345,600 pixels at 30 frames/second = 10,368,000
Just DVD. I really don't need to be able to zoom all the way down some actor's buttcrack, or whatever other special features they're going to add to justify the higher capacities. I had a TV with built-in VCR, even, until a few months ago.
High Definition TV: 2,073,600 pixels at 60 frames/second = 124,416,000 pixels/second
HD discs need exactly 12 times the storage space for the same one second of video, so the increase in storage space is offset by the increase in file size.

Standard DVD, and I'm not touching the new formats until one of them comes out a clear winner. I don't want to drop money on a player and discs only to have the other format drive my format choice out of the market.
Yep good 'ol DVD for me as well. I won't buy any of the new formats until there is a clear winner. Buying a player then you find out later you can't buy discs or movies for it anymore.
