Posted ImageOur guest for this week’s Slice of SciFi Show (#130) is Lance Weiler, writer, director and creator of “Hope is Missing” a horror 2.0 ARG (Alternate Reality Game). “Hope” sets out to capture its users by creating a mixture of multi-web 2.0 properties in order set them up for his latest VOD movie “Head Trauma.” For the rest of the show we will have news about a Gateway opening to Hell, whose been tapped to direct the next Terminator film and which writing team has been chosen for the Transformers sequel.

Jewel Staite of “Firefly,” “Serenity,” and now “Stargate: Atlantis” is in our movie news with her new horror flick titled “The Tribe.”

Everything about TV is “Lost.” What we can expect when it returns in February. Who may or may not last until the show concludes in 2010 and a lot more information from executive producers Carlton Cruse and Damon Lindelof.

The future looks bright for the pocket books of Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley. They will star together in the new film “Splice,” that takes a fantastical look at genetic engineering gone awry.

Actress Dominique Swain gets snuffed in the psychological horror flick titled “Slaughter.” Yep, the title for this one says it all.

Even though Sam is away this coming week we’ve still got loads of contests to talk about so be sure to join us on Saturday, October 13 for Slice of SciFi Show #130 with our guest Lance Weiler and the whole studio gang. The show is available for download from our website or via your favorite podcatcher, iTunes and on XM-Satellite Radio’s The Sonic Channel.
