AT has suggested we hold a celebration for the sixth anniversary of "Broken Bow"'s first airing and I think it's a great idea. It will be a bit like E-day only on a smaller scale. We can do letter sending, postcards Etc.. I'd also like at least one chat.

We're going to have to move quick on this but I think we can do well with it. This is also when I think we should close the polls on the election and we can release the trailer for IS5 and/or launch the first episode then.

Any other ideas?

i think it should just be chats and no postcard or letter sending just make it a pure celebration.

My thinking is that maybe the letter sending business put people off joining in the E-Day fun so we could virtually use this as a test to see if a difference happens.

It wouldn't be mandatory. And we do need to do something with a more real effect at some point.

true but whatever it is has to be really new or risk falling into a cycle of doing the old things again and again

You know we probably should do this on a weekend, maybe the Sunday before the anniversary?

Nuts.

You know I'm thinking we should scale this down, maybe just a chat and encourage people to do some letter sending. Do it a few days before the date and maybe do one other thing (or two) like closing the polls in the election on the actual date.

I'm pretty sure that we can release some extra material on the original airdate... ;)

So we need to get moving on this. Anybody have any ideas for guests we could invite to a chat?

Crazy idea #31505: Why don't we get someone from TU's staff or just regular members (or both) to interview me and other members of the SE team about what we've done this year and our plans for the future.

haha that be funny i can just picture the advertisement

Ladies and Gentlemen, to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Enterprise premiering on US television you have the chance to grill members of Save Enterprise and whats even better is that you can grill them live in the chat room.

It sure would be interesting though......hey why not it shows we're not high and mighty, so pious that we cannot face critics.

Here's an idea for your chat. Set up the chat for a certain time (let's use 4PM as an example). People start showing up...a few people pop in a little late. At about 4:15, everyone starts playing their Broken Bow DVDs. You can then have a running chat/commentary discussing the episode.

That's creative. I don't have any DVDs but I could still join in.
