The Terran / Human race is interesting for sure and no one can forget the geneticly enhanced superhuman Khan or the Augment 'children' of Dr. Arik Soong, but who is the most interesting 'enemy' encountered in the Star Trek universe?
Perhaps your choice would be the Mirror Universe 'enemy'?
Tried to keep this poll choice to a 'top 20' but there are so many more to choose from - maybe you would like to add and state your case!

I still find the Borg interesting. We've see a fair amount of them but what of the Borg King???

Well as for a King, I always thought they needed a Queen not a King. Like Hive as in a Bee Hive, which is controlled by the Queen.

  • Interests:For this forum - 'Star Trek' obviously! I write fan fiction and am currently in the process of writing a planned series of fan novels based on the joint adventures of Jean-Luc Picard and Shinzon (it's amazing what you can do with a bit of bad science and a huge amount of imagination!). Actually, I've been trekking since 1969 and I love all Star Trek. I have books galore and I collect Art Asylum 7" Star Trek figures as well.Apart from that I love movies, reading, music and occasionally making my own art.

I voted for the Jem'Hadar.

The Borg are the most interesting enemy in Star Trek.

"We are the borg, drop your shields and surrender"

"You will be assimliated"

"Resistance is futile"

That is all I can remember what the borg says when they come to an upcoming ship that is going to get threatened.

I voted borg, mostly probably because I haven't watched very much voyager, but in TNG, you don't know a whole ton about them and they just go around turning everyone into robot zombies, which is something that none of the other enemies do, and stuff.

Well because you said most "interesting" I'd have to go with either the Romulans or the bloody Cardies (aka Cardassians). Both species have a lot of political intruigue to them....you never know quite what to think of their devious and deceptive ways.

I'd also put the Breen up there too as we knew so little about them. ("Never turn your back on a Breen").

Agreed, we have never seen a Breen nor understood a word that they are saying (though I found it amusing that in one episode you can hear Thot Gor say "very clear" in response to Weyoun's orders). Their ships are a really cool design, and they are powerfully armed. Haven't seen their homeworld either, though it is suggested it is frozen.

The Borg, because they're the main threat in TNG and Voyager (my favourite series)

I'd have to go with species 8472... as for the borg, their greatest enemy would be MIcrosoft Windows and microsoft lawyers :D

I voted for the Jem'Hadar. POP MMO is a free to play MMORPG site where you can play the online games with your friends. Do not forget to summon your friends to get a role playing game for free. Some of games can be played via web browser, which is called browser games.

I voted for the Klingons. Let's face it they weren't the bad guy of the week for nothing. They proved to be smart, aggressive and super cool under pressure...what is there not to like. I think with all the episodes dedicated to aliens, Klingons have proved to make the most interesting stories.
