Okay, so it's not all sequels, but it's a lot of them. ;) And you can check off all the movies that interest you. :D

Personally, I've got high hopes for Spidey, Shrek, Pirates, Ocean's 13, Fantastic Four, The Bourne Ultimatum, and The Kingdom.

I'm looking forward to Shrek and Transformers, though I wouldn't really call Transformers a sequel. ;)

I'm incredibly psyched about HP5, Spiderman 3 (:w00t:), Fantastic 4, POTC, and Resident Evil: Extinction :D. I'm also excited about some Spring movies - 300 and Grindhouse, to be specific. B)

Shrek in a class of its own, but Pirates is also fantastic and Ocean's is good.

Shrek, though.... I tell you it has set a standard for what the movie-going experience can be--top notch on so many levels & enjoyable to the widest audience. Nothing else packs so much goodness/value into a single motion picture, IMO.

*takes a count*
Okay, of the 19 listed, 12 are direct sequels and 4 are based off of something already made (Nancy Drew, Transformers, Hairspray, and The Simpsons Movie). That leaves three original stories! Granted, these are just the more major movies this summer, there are about four times as many smaller (and potentially good) movies also coming out.

Well she is legal in England... but it ain't going to happen. :P

Also... IMDb has gone Web 2.0  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0914612/

And I think they need to work on data hierarchy... those big yellow buttons at the top are overwhelming the biographical data and the personal photo could be bigger.

I voted for spidey and simpsons. But I'm also curious about the order of the phoenix (it was my favourite book) transformers (high potential for cheese but could also be really good) and shrek.

I didn't need to hear that. Also in the books she's supposed to be really ugly. One of the ways the movies didn't get it right.

Well, it would be a bad move cinema-wise to do that. Sex appeal sells. ;) And don't forget that Emma Watson was cast when she was 10 years old (she's almost 17 now). Though J.K. Rowling has expressed her approval of the casting...
