This will either be totally awesome or cheesier then a dairy factory. I'll probably see it with my brother, he's a huge transformers fan. When I was growing up I watched beast wars which was transformers only they turned into animals. It was way cool for a kids show.

I grew up with the orginal Transformers cartoon and I really enjoyed them. I have to say that Beast Wars was the best of the newer Transformers shows. Even Beast Machines wasn't that bad, but the resst after that I did not enjoy at all. It most likely doesn't help that I don't like anime either, which is what the new ones are. There is even possibilities of them starting a new one this Fall, Transformers: Heroes. They saw that they will get away from the anime look with this new one. I'm probably going to try to watch it if I have the time to see how it is.

Yeah, I loved the original and Beast Wars. I wasn't a big fan of it when it became Beast Machines, and I have seen some of the newer ones. But the newer ones have done things with the continuity that I have yet to figure out. On its own it was alright, but altogether, not so much.

If there is a new show this fall, I hope it will be a good one. :w00t:

They're certainly starting the media blitz EARLY. Commercials are airing on Sci-Fi and Cartoon Network already. Not to mention the Myspace blitz.

I love the original Transformers from the 80s but I hate Beast Wars and the newest ones. I'm sorry but this film doesn't look that good. To me, Transformers died a long time ago after the original ones disappeared.

Even though it was kinda bizarre I still really liked beast machines. I still have a ton of toys from it and beast wars left over from my childhood.

I watched transformers the other day. Firstly I want to say I loved it and it was a lot of fun. Secondly I want to say that this movie was dumb. Reeeeeaally dumb. If you want a movie with a good plot that you can take seriously keep moving. However if you want some good old fashioned check yer brain at the door mindless fun this is a great movie.

Needless to say the effects were beyond great. Megatron was really cool even if he didn't get much screen time. There was a lot (mostly stupid but still funny) jokes. The scene with the main character trying to hide a half-dozen two-story tall autobots from his parents is pretty funny.

I look forward to the sequel hinted at in the credits when we see Starscream flying into space.

I just saw the movie today and i thought that it was awesome The only time i really enjoyed the movie was when the Robots were around, otherwise i think that the movie had some stupid scenes that were not necessary.

Like I said it depends on what you want to see. If you want a mindless action packed feast for the eyes go see it. If you want something you can take seriously with a good plot move on.

I watched this movie and it was pretty much as I expected it to be. An action packed special effects combination, not much of a real plot besides the one from the cartoons - Autobots vs Decepticons (Good vs Bad). If you want an thrilling storyline ... I'm sorry.
But the special effects are excellent though.

P.S. I grew to love the new camaro :)
