I've seen the toying, but the whole weekend? I can't see Gibbs making that concession to any of his ex wifes, let alone her. ;)

I'd say something outrageous about what ends up happening, but the kind of crap that I usually make up doesn't do it justice... Dammit, when's Season 6 start? :argh:

In my opinion, NCIS, is one of the best shows on TV at the moment and certainly the best coming out of CBS. I used to be a fan of CSI: Miami but it seems to have become mired in its own nonsense. NCIS has not gotten to that yet, they keep coming up with good ways to surprise the viewing audience and usually the performances are very believable.

Now we have started with a new season of NCIS and Jenny is gone and replaced with Leone Vance things are heating up again in the office. Vance doesn't take any BS and the actor plays the role well.

All in all, NCIS is good TV, in my opinion. I voted for Gibbs in the pole, btw :)

... because they didn't have enough acronyms on the air as it was. Seriously, I love this show, and I voted for Abby, though it was really hard to choose. OT: I've always thought Mark Harmon would make a great Starfleet captain. :P

I agree that it was realy hard to choose. I voted for Tony, though. He is my favorite, always joking of everything, and I love the movie references! And, I agree with the Starfleet captain comment :). I like NCIS Los Angeles, too.

I didn't actually like this show when I first saw it. I have never been a particular fan of Mark Harmon, and seeing him in the show was rather off-putting to me. I also thought it was a cheap knock-off of Crimminal Minds, a show I did like. But, catching more and more of the episodes, thanks to cable station USA, I've grown to love it. I used to watch the Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Sorry for the double post, but I accidentally hit something on my keyboard, and I thought my post-start went nowhere. Oi!

What I started to say was: I didn't actually like this show the first time I saw it. Not a fan of Mark Harmon,(even when he was in Chicago Hope years ago) the fact that he stars in NCIS was rather off-putting to me. I considered it a cheap knock-off of Crimminal Minds, a show I do like. But, I've watched more episodes of NCIS lately, thanks to cable station USA, and with the more in-depth shows revolving around the characters, throughout the seasons, I've grown to love it. I liked Ziva up front and actually prefer her to Kaitlyn Todd (I know, heresey for sure) but I've also been able to get into Leroy Jethro Gibbs character more. I find I do like the guy. LOL

And Abbey, whom I orginally considered to be a skinny, Gothed-out version of Garcia (from Crimminal Minds), has won me over, too. Now, I'm realizing that NCIS is the older of the two shows. If it has become trite and a little tired, it's been on the air since 2000, I think. That's a very long time for any series. Maybe the bloom is a bit off of the bloom . . . And for me, I like it when a show does daring things i.e. Kaitlyn's ghost, etc. I don't believe it's 'Jumped the Shark' just yet. I'm watching the current season, too, for the first time.

I voted for McGee, however, but was torn because I also love David McCallum from his Man From U.N.C.L.E. days. And you didn't have Brian Dietzen on the list. Yes, I know he's a supportive character, but he's still fun.
