Cool. The remastered edition of TOS is finally great. I cannot wait to see the remastered version of "The Cage" in my hometown next Saturday. :D

I just don't know what to think of these "improved shows". Paramount is the cheapest studio in town second only to Disney, and many, many, many of the new shots show it. Mostly I just find it disquieting. The moments I do enjoy the new shots is simply due to camera moves. The light effects on the ship are consistently substandard next to the light camera model from the 60's.
