Well, I like autumn the most because ( isn't it obvious?!? ) the woods and pastures are richest in edible mushrooms and because of various ripe fruits we get to pick. I like the grilled corn cobs and fried mushrooms, later on the chestnuts come into the menu and after that comes winter. Well, winter, due to the nature of my work is the second least favourite season, the cold and moist weather with rainfall and snowfall tend to make my work unbearable. I don't work in a cold shielded areas. However, i picked the last option for the quiz. this is a Star Trek forum, after all.:vulcan:

I'm a winter lover too - just don't deal well with heat at all. I just presume my ancestors were vikings and that in order to be comfortable I just need to move north of the arctic circle again :P .

Plus there's something about the cold, dark winter nights which makes being inside and watching Trek all the more cosy.

Fall used to be my favorite season, growing up. I loved that it got dark by five o'clock in the evening. But since my hubby and I have moved to a different state, I now love Winter. It snows where I live (although this year we're being short-changed) and I have waited my entire life to live in and experience the whole snow thing.

I've always been one to curl up in front of the fire and read a book. Now, it's just nice to have it on (gas fireplace, not to worry) for the warmth and the atmosphere. And I miss it so much in the warmer months, I just can't tell you.

I enjoyed seeing and hearing the crackle of Kirk's fireplace in his apartment in Wrath of Khan. That was a nice touch. Way cool.
