Archer is the best Captain. But Kirk is a gun aswell!
However Archer takes the cake, his is a strong leader. He has strong faith in humanity and all necessary leadership qualities to make the best Captain! Kirk is just behind his childhood hero! lol

Picard. Which is ironic given that I couldn't stand the guy at first. :)

This is a tough one. I like Janeway and Archer. I voted for Janeway because I wasn't sure if I was biased and leaning towards Archer because of the campaign. They are both great captains. No one pushes them around!

Archer, for so many reasons! He's a very realistic character, has his flaws and learns and grows from them.... he's kind of just "one of the guys" on the crew, will hang out with them (movie night, basketball). Sense of humor. Cute. Hey, as a Scott Bakula fan.... why not??? :P

There actually was not a captain that I did not like except that I thought Picard was too stuffy at first, but after he loosened up, I thought he was OK.

this was a hard one...I went with Sisko cause I love his character. I'm not s big fan of Avery Brooks acting though. Archer and Picard are my other favorites. I think Stewart and Bakula are great actors too. Kirk and Janeway I do enjoy, but not as much.

Here's what I said elsewhere.

Picard.

Sisko was good to, Kirk was a pompous pretty boy, Janeway was okay but dull, and Archer I like imperfect but human and very likeable.
