i put the intrepid in there cuz i know some people that dont like it, but i know some of u will think im insane

as for all of the others, i figured that they were the more obscure, less popular classes, so there it is...

Given the choices I vote for intrepid. I really don't like them. But all time has gotta be defiant, it doesn't even look like it's from star trek! More like a star wars rip-off.

i rather liked Defiant because it didn't look like every other starship out there....

Well, from the choices, I said runabout simply because its more like a shuttle than a ship. My least fav though thats not on the list is prolly the Olympic, while I respect its originality, the design is a lil far-fetched with the front of the ship being a sphere instead or a saucer

Out of the choices I went for Constellation...although Oberth is right behind it.

I actually liked the Intrepid and Runabouts.

I went for Oberth, 'cause it's so dang ugly, but I'd actually have gone for the Daedalus first.

I went for the Oberth class, the ugly duckling of the fleet

Oberth...because one little disrupter blast and the thing is toast. Where is the challange of that?

It is the weakest ship from the Pajama crowd.

^well it was meant to be a long term science vessel only. The bigger ships go in, do the major exploring, find something curious that warrents further study, and in comes the Oberth class. But I agree it is one of my least favorite designs.

Seems like we use the same reasoning to come to our different opinions. You like it because it's unique in trek and I dislike it because it lacks everything that makes trek ships unique.

Come on, the Constitution Class is one of the best. I do also love the Galaxy Class, Sovereign Class, Defiant Class, and the Intrepid Class and I think the runabouts are cooler than the regular shuttlecrafts. Defiant Class are small but they move quickly that is why I like them. :) I guess I will pick the Oberth as the less one that I like.

i think maybe you misread part of the poll
its says Constellation, so i would assume that is where u come up with constitution

but yes, the constitution is quite the iconic class of ship...its one of my favorites for nostalgic reasons alone...lol....but if u are curious what the constellation class is, then refer to here: http://en.wikipedia....-class_starship

its the class of ship that Picard's Stargazer falls into, as well as the Hathaway from the TNG episode 'Peak Performance'

and

BUMP

oh, and i voted for the Oberth class

The oberth class, the design of that class is just so... ugly.

Out of that list, the Oberth. It just doesn't make sense. How are you supposed to get from the saucer to the engineering hull? Transporter? Going through the nacelles seems like a bad idea (unless you enjoy vaporization). The design doesn't work.

I went with Runabout. I like them all, but the Runabout always struck me as redundant.

although Oberth is not quite my least favorite, I always thought it an odd design but the point you make is a very good one that never occured to me. It appears the engineering crew and bridge crew never make contact with one another on that ship. Surely somewhere, say a Trek magazine or technical manual, there is (or needs to be!) an explanation, it would be interesting...

Anyone played Bridge commander? Ambassador class was the worst scuzzbucket in that game and i don't just judge by how it looks, the ship's success is as important to me... If it flew as it well as it looked i would select a different one.

Constellation... I really don't like Constellation class... and wth is Intrepid doing there, it's the coolest of them all! With the possible exception of the Prometheus class.
One day, you will realize with dismay, that with just one, tiny, almost insignificant exception, the world is made up of 'others'.
