MARINER is set during the early 25th century (the same era as Star Trek Online). Although the Federation and Klingons are at war, this series focuses on the disarray in Romulan territory after the collapse & reconstitution of the Star Empire. A rogue faction of Romulan pirates has been attacking Federation border colonies...slave traders are thriving with no stable power in the sector...and the Hirogen have now made their way into this untamed region of the Beta Quadrant!

We started designing this project about a year ago, and finally released our first full episode last week. We have ten episodes planned for Season One.

You can watch our pilot episode on Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/24364625

Our official web site is http://mariner.gfcmedia.net, and you can follow updates on Facebook and Twitter. We plan to run some fun contests and post goodies in between the release of full episodes.

Also, if you want to get involved you certainly are welcome to. Whether you're an artist, a writer, a voice actor, a web designer, a musician, or something else...we would love to get you involved in some way. This is a volunteer project, so things move slowly when we don't have a lot of people volunteering to work on things. Contact NCC94253@GFCmedia.net with any questions!

Thanks for watching. :)

That's great work, 9, reminds me of some of the great Flash animations I've seen - the top of the line would have to be Xombie, but Enterprise: Flashed did some fantastic work as well! Had a look at Anime Studio, for its price it looks like a viable option for this styl;e of animation, especially with the lip synch.

Gotta blaze!

Please stop using vimeo as it has crappy/choppy playback.

I've got to admit that Vimeo is a problem for me, but more because I can't embed them in the forum or on Facebook which means I can't give you the same visibility that I can for YouTube videos. As regards playback quality can't say I noticed a difference when I watched your last episode last week, but I tend to wait until I've got a lot of it downloaded on the bar before I start it to cut down on lag.
