How would you rate the Doctor Who episode "The Vampires of Venice"?

Just a reminder for BBC America viewers: Since next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, there is no new episode on that Saturday. The next new episode will air in two weeks on June 5th.

It was okay. The climax was disjointed and rushed. The rest was better with several references to the classic Hammer horror films.

I thought it was about as good as the premiere. The funniest part was when Rory was trying to fight the vampire guy with a broom, thrusting it forward into the guy's chest, as if it would do any harm.

Having the benefit of watching them back to back I disagree.

A good episode, bringing Rory in makes for some amusing scenes.
His introduction as a comic relief is similar to the episodes when Roses, friend Mickey was along for the ride.
I agree the end was rushed.

Well, the premiere had some better moments, obviously, but this episode wasn't nearly as corny. So they almost even out.

It was a good episode. There where some funny scenes with Rory and nice women.
The ending was rushed.
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"

Did anyone else see the William Hartnell photo in the ID the Doctor held up to the vampires? :)
