Had a very old ditty waltzing through my brain most recently. Today, it's appropos. I remembered, finally where it came from. Good ol' Sherrif John. There's on old youtube of him singing it, I discovered. I only had one lyric wrong, even after all these years. So, yes, please put another candle on my birthday cake, I'm another year old today. :D

Ah, thanks for the heads up on yours. I should be able to remember that date, as it also has a special meaning for me. My (then to be hubby) and I became Orthodox Christians on that date way back in 1974. :)

GalacticGal Hi, All! I know, I know, I've been considerably A.W.O.L. again. Things have been crazy here. Volume 2 is out, I met my second cousin, once removed, All kinds of things going on in my life right now. LOL But, that's what makes life good, right?

GalacticGal If you haven't already done so, I suggest you run your computers through a malware check. USA government will be shutting down the safety - net the FBI set up for us a year ago when the international hackers were discovered. Reportedly, they infected thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of computers worldwide with a DNS changer bot. In the USA, the FBI intervened to keep our computers going to legitimate IP addresses, but not by this coming Monday, July 9th.

GalacticGal Yikes, today is a slow, boring day. It should be more festive for two reasons. First, it's the 236th anniversary of American Independence and secondly, it's my Name Day. What is a Name Day, you may ask? It's a celebration of one's Patron Saint. Mine happens to be the last Russian Tsar's youngest daughter, Grand Duchess Anastasia.
