Hey guys, we had a lot of fun yesterday at my sisters birthday party with her friends. It's always funny. She loved my present and we will watch the second ER episode together today. Tomorrow I have to get back to work for this report I have to write. What scares me the most about it is the cost estimate that I have to do for it. That's gonna be a hard thing to do. On Tuesday I am out with friends and then I will have time the following days to work on that report again. And on Friday we're off to Holland, yeah! Now as you might have found out already, I can be a pain in the ass. I know that sometimes I speak my mind a bit to open. That seemed to have happened again. I am not refering to my "rants" here, I am completly fine with what I wrote here. No I just think I opened my mouth a bit to wide in one of the ER Forums I am a member in now. It is almost refreshing to see that some people there don't see the ship sinking. I mean we have been trough all this with Enterprise and the signs I see with ER are so clear it almost hurts my eyes. What bothers me is that I am totaly ignored when I make remarks about it. Seems that I have been typecasted as a stupid Star Trek Nerd that no one has to pay attention to. Well I honestly have to say that every fandom seems to have it's tics but that I heartfeltly prefer the ones we have in this case. Here new members are integrated even if they openly speak about things that some of us don't want to hear. There I have the feeling if you don't fit into the ideal "drama" world you are tolerated but not integrated. That's a bit sad. I know I tend to be a little pessimist but sometimes that helps not be dissapointed when, in this case, the show looks like it will be canceled sometime soon. I don't want to get too much involved or been carried away with the nervous breakdowns people will have after that show stops after 13 or what years. I mean we would have been happy with 5 seasons, right? Now I will see how they will react to my latest comment. TBTB sem to want to shorten the season down to 22 episodes, and well... that seemed a bit too familiar to me. So that's it for today, Inga
