Well readers, it is now Thursday (at least in Australia it is) and nothing has changed yet even stranger is that i haven't heard a word since Saturday from my friend which is very unusual but theres nothing that can be done about it right now although i hope i am not right when i sense that something is terribly wrong
On the bright side the mail came today and i got Medal of Honor: Vanguard and the record Johnny O'Keefe: Live in Concert now Johnny O'Keefe was Australia's first big rock n roll star whose version of "Shout Part 1 and 2" in my opinion is vastly superior to the Isley Brothers version which was released a year or so earlier, there is a great energy in the performance like he gives everything he has in him and although some people said he sounded like a concrete mixer, this man was the King of Australian Rock another favourite track is "She's So Tough" and finally "Sing Sing Sing"
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=2kP3BS23PNE (Shout)
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=EIXwc6wCr-w (She's So Tough)
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=k4CFo4NGkJU (Sing Sing Sing)
It seems i talk alot about music, basically Music and Star Trek are my two best things i have although i can't play music myself apart from the top string on a guitar but i know when my brother plays it i can sense if he is playing too fast or too slow and then keep listening until he gets it sounding right........my brother wanted a guitar badly to replace a $120 one from Target which sounded bad, the strings rusted and it was very heavy to use and he picked this guitar at a shop he said it was a great guitar and we said if it was $160 okay get it then he comes home with it costing $180 (of my money!) and it had a string missing too! So i had to pay money for six new strings thankfully my brothers friend Cole is a good guitarist knows how to string up a guitar so i saved some money thankfully and i been making sure my brother uses that guitar good and proper because it cost me alot and i want to see rewards.
This is for the metal music fans of Trekunited, this group is from a town called Deniliquin in the state of NSW and they are called Detravine (pronounced Detra-veen)
you can even download their music at myspace.com/detravine and of course you can even be their friends and this song is called A.O.C and you can view it here
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=TwYkkKnJ08Q (A.O.C)
I should note i was partly educated in Deniliquin (years 4 to 6 at Deniliquin North Public School and Years 7 and 12 at Deniliquin High) and one of the guitarists is a friend of mine but honestly they do deserve some recognition because playing Metal music in a Country town must be a tough thing to do because of the location you have to go at least two hours south to a place that has a bigger metal music base (Albury/Wodonga) and the town has also been struggling to maintain a music festival for several years which limits their choices of big crowd concerts apart from a show called Night of Darkness that happens twice or more times a year in the towns RSL Club (attracts over 100 fans)
Thats it readers, enjoy the music and give some thoughts if you like
talk to me and i talk to you

update: I got a message from my friends boyfriend, it seems Beck got into a car accident she is okay but needs some surgery hopefully her unborn kid is alright........more details as it comes to hand
Also i been asked if $20 a week repayments will be ok, i guess i can accept that but anything extra will be great
AT, sympathy, caring, support, concern - all these things cost nothing but show that you are a good friend. Paying you back the money they owe you before asking you for more money is what a friend would do for you. If they ask for more money before the past money has been paid then they are not friends. Also i been asked if $20 a week repayments will be ok, i guess i can accept that but anything extra will be great
I saw Johnny O'Keefe in concert in West Wyalong thirty years ago!

If Trekunited was a historical school/Uni what would be on it's grounds and Wall of Fame?
