I talk about "the honour of the House of L'Stok" in my Klingon fan persona but today my son, Christopher has brought very real honour on himself and we can but bask in his awesomeness! He found out his ATAR score, which is the Australian equivalent to the American SATs if I've got it right, and he got 86 which is enough to score himself a place in the University of Sydney, arguably the Aussie equivalent of MIT or Oxford!
I've always tried to make it known that I'm immensely proud of both my kids and whatever he had got, I would have been justifiably proud of him, not just because of what he had achieved but because of the hard work and sensible decisions he has made which have got him where he is.


My nickname for him online has been "The Heir To The Family Curse" because he is a hopeless idealist who believes in the innate goodness of his fellow men and has brought me to task many times for my cynical worldliness. I have learned many things from my children over the course of our upbringing and look forward to many more adventures with them.


It will be my honour to become famous as Christopher Anderton's father.
